Friendship Collages & Feeling Scenarios

During our activity time on Monday, we created friendship collages using pictures of our 9 current classmates! The children loved this project and working with pictures of their pals! 

Today we worked through four different scenarios. The children decided how each scenario would make them feel and drew a face to correspond! They thought this was really neat and loved making the various faces. We discussed the emotions: happy, sad, mad, and tired. 

Get Well Cards

Today we talked about the act of caring. We discussed different ways we can show someone we care. One of the children said "you can make cards to give to someone when they are sick or sad". This response applied perfectly with our topic for the day. Today we created adorable get well cards simply using a bandage, a piece of card stock, and markers. Note: you will be receiving this get well cards whether you are sick or not! Regardless if you are sick, these cards are sure to put a smile on your face! Too cute!
