Margot & Caden!

During Music today, we sang Our Earth is our Mother and used the rain stick to follow the rhythm and beat.

We also listened to a song and were asked to listen to the lyrics and beat. We drew pictures of what the song made us feel or think about.

Today we discussed caterpillar eggs. We read story about the life cycle of a butterfly, as well as used our life cycle kit. We created caterpillar eggs on a leaf using paper and dried pasta.

During our outside time today, we explored in the grass and picked dandelions.

The highlight of our day was playing with our Backstreet Boy figurines and listening to their music. Margot even drew pictures of them! She did an amazing job!

Caterpillars!

Monday was beyond beautiful and the Lions only had two students! This meant we were able to go out two times that day! What a wonderful way to start the week!

Making caterpillars with paint...

...and making caterpillars with cubes!

This girl is ready for the warm weather!

Wesley A, played with us at the park!

Check out our caterpillars!

We are so excited to learn all about caterpillars and butterflies!

During reading group, we read various sentences and decided which words fit the best!

Today was a little colder outside but we still had a fantastic time! We also had four kids today instead of two!

We learned how to draw the Very Hungry Caterpillar today before lunch!
