Letter T Show & Tell and Dramatic Play!

The letter of the week was T and the students brought in awesome show & tell to share with their friends! We can't seem to get enough of dressing up and using our imaginations, so we have shared more of those pictures below! Shira came to visit our classroom today for a few hours and we were lucky enough to play with her during our centers & free play time!

Noble's Holiday Party at Flo!

This year we had our holiday party at Flo on Chicago Ave. We had such a fantastic time and were welcomed with fantastic gifts from our Sunshine Committee! Thank you for your kindness and support!

The Solar System & Holidays!

Today we invited two wonderful women,one from the Adler Planetarium and the other from the Shedd aquarium,  to observe our classroom. During this time, the students pretended to be astronauts who traveled to outer space to learn all about our solar system. We read an outer space book from the Dr. Seuss collection, as well as recalled the 8 planets from memory. Our little astronauts then created their own solar system with construction paper. They colored all 8 planets, put them in the proper order, and made it so they could orbit around the sun! We had such a BLAST exploring on our rocket ship and learned so much! Thanks to Betsie and Jenn for coming to visit our classroom!

As we say goodbye to Clyde, we welcome Shira!

As of today, Clyde will no longer be in the Noble Preschool. We want to thank Clyde for all the amazing memories and friendship in the past two years and wish him luck in the next step in his life!

 

Starting this Thursday, December 20th, we will begin transitioning Shira into the preschool. She will be with us full time as of Wednesday, December 26th! We are very excited to have Shira with us and look forward to becoming closer to a new friend!

 

We welcome Shira into the Noble Preschool!
