Today the Learning Lions had their Vegetable Party! Each child contributed a different vegetable and Miss Victoria brought in plain hummus, as well as black & green olives (even though they are technically fruit). Before eating our veggies, we discussed its name, color, and what it felt like. It was really fun to see which vegetables the children loved and the ones they just could not handle! We also created a chart where we told the class which vegetable we brought and at the end, which vegetable was our favorite! Huge thanks to the parents for the kind vegetable donations!
