Letter L Detectives & Reading Group!
On Monday, the students worked in mini teams to be Letter L Detectives. The students are to flip through magazines to locate the letter of the week and glue it to their large outline of the letter of the week. I could not believe how hard the students worked this week. The students totals were between 34 and 50!!! All time record, way to go Lions!
Miss Vicki's reading group worked on the sight word can while reading the story Family Fun!
Zaria brought in a book from the Public Library and read to a few friends during reading group!

Rainbow Day!
The students first big homework assignment was to take their brown bag and check list home, search for one item from each color of the rainbow, and return the bag to school the next day to share and explain their items in their bag to their classmates. They did a fantastic job and I really appreciate all the parents and siblings help and support! Here is a look at our Rainbow Surprise Bag Show & Tell!
